Furst Ranch Presales Begin in Flower Mound as Highland Homes Launches First Phase of Master-Planned Community

Homes at Furst Ranch in Flower Mound have entered presale as Highland Homes launches the first phase. Initial offerings feature large lots and upscale pricing, marking a key step in the long planned 2,300-acre North Texas community.

Residential development at Furst Ranch in Flower Mound has reached a new stage as homebuilders begin presales for the first phase of housing. Highland Homes is among the initial builders offering homes in the master-planned community, which spans roughly 2,300 acres in North Texas.

The presale listings include single-family homes planned on 60 to 70-foot lots, with floor plans ranging from about 2,200 to 4,600 SF. Pricing for this phase is positioned in the upper tier of the local market, while earlier development plans indicated that future homes by other builders could reach higher price points.

Furst Ranch has been under active planning for several years. Builder participation and design concepts were first outlined in 2024. Ownership of the project shifted in 2025 when the land was acquired by Miami-based Starwood Land as part of a large scale transaction, setting the stage for phased construction and long-term buildout.

Community plans emphasize amenities and open space. Current proposals include a large central park, a community activities center, neighborhood parks, playgrounds, and a network of hike-and-bike trails. Developers have also highlighted landscape preservation as a guiding principle for the project’s layout.

The development is expected to integrate residential uses with future commercial and civic components. A major grocery operator has purchased land within the project area, and Argyle ISD has secured acreage for a future middle and elementary school campus. Later phases may introduce senior housing, retail, and additional residential formats.
